The Only Thing You Have To Do

Dave Freeman, the co-author of the book 100 Things to Do Before You Die has died.

At age 47 he fell over, banged his head, and died.

He was only half way through the list, apparently.

There is only one thing you have to do before you die.

It's not running with the bulls in Pamplona.


What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels."

OK, if you haven't worked it out it's this, Get right with God.

That's the only thing you've gotta do.

If you never run with the bulls, it's not going to ruin your eternity.
If you never do voodoo it's not going to hoodoo heaven.

But if you are not right with God when you die. You are not right with God forever.
